Marceile was born January 21st, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio. She is a graduate of West High School, Columbus, and attended Capital University, majoring in History.

Approved as an Associate in Ministry in the Indiana Kentucky Synod, ELCA, Marceile is currently awaiting call. Formal education during her ministry candidacy included coursework at Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, and off site distant learning through the ELCA Select program, again administered through Trinity Lutheran Seminary.

Marceile is a church organist/musician with experience in conducting and directing small church choirs, older adult choirs, and is capable in introducing new worship materials and hymnbooks to congregations. Her past church activities include leading Bible study, teaching Sunday School, teaching and directing Vacation Bible School, singing in choirs, accompanying choirs, directing choirs, soloing during worship, serving as visitation minister, and planning worship as part of her responsibilities as Director of Music.

Presently Director of Music at Light of the Cross Worship Center, Fort Wayne, Marceile is Visitation Minister for Light of the Cross, and volunteers in their Food Bank Pantry. She serves as a volunteer in Pastoral Care Services at Lutheran Homes, Fort Wayne, the place where she completed her field work while in Candidacy for certification as an Associate in Ministry. She has served as a volunteer Overnight Chaplain at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, for seven years. For the past four years, Marceile has served as Director of Music for the Indiana-Kentucky Synod's annual Professional Leaders’ Conference. She is one of the founders and facilitators of the Workshop for Smaller and Rural Congregations, now in it’s 7th year.

For several years, Marceile has served as a delegate to ELCMA, the Evangelical Lutheran Coalition for Mission in Appalachia. Her family roots are in Eastern Tennessee, and the plight of those in Appalachia is dear to her. Marceile's Appalachian involvement continues with fundraising through ELCMA's Appalseeds Subscription Program and crocheting afghans for fundraising at ELCMA assemblies.

A wife and homemaker, Marceile is the mother of two daughters, Siri and Erica, is stepmother to five, and is grandmother and step-grandmother to eleven grandchildren. Her hobbies and interests include music, reading, crocheting and volunteering in the community.
